Now in its 15th year, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival has evolved into one of the world’s most celebrated literary and artistic events; an annual pilgrimage for lovers of literature and conversation.
Southeast Asia's leading festival of words and ideas will return this year on October 24 to 28. To celebrate this milestone, the festival has revealed a stellar lineup of authors, journalists, artists and activists from 30 countries. Often described as a human rights festival under the guise of a literary event, the festival promises a world of stories, ideas and solutions at a time when amplifying diverse voices and rarely-heard perspectives is more critical than ever.
